Description[edit]

This joint issue celebrates dragon boat racing in both Australia and Hong Kong, China. The Dragon Boat (Tuen Ng) Festival, with its spectacular dragon boats racing to the beat of the drums and roar of the crowd, is one of Hong Kong’s most exciting and popular festivals. The stamps will be released in Hong Kong and Australia to coincide with the festival on 25 June 2001.
