Portrait of Franz-Joseph, figures on coloured motive, for use in Cisleithania countries. New currency Heller (1/2 kreuzer) - Kronen enforced on 1 January 1900. 15 values valid until 31 October 1908. Unused stamps are less common.

To be distinguished from the 1901 issue with varnish bars protection.
