Forest - Vorst is one of the 19 municipalities (55,014 inhabitants in 2015) located in the bilingual Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium. The FOREST post-office opened on 27 April 1864. It used a postal code 138 with points before 1870. The sub-office FOREST (STALLE) opened on 1 October 1874, renamed FOREST-EST (24 November 1880) and FOREST-LEZ-BRUXELLES (19 November 1894).
