Gangshan is a 'district' (區) in the 'special municipality' (直轄市) of Kaohsiung City (高雄市), which is located in south-west Taiwan. Prior to the 2010 establishment of the enlarged 'special municipality', Gangshan was an 'urban township' (鎮) within the former Kaohsiung County (高雄縣).
