Great Yarmouth (AKA Yarmouth) is a coastal town in Norfolk, England. It is located at the mouth of the River Yare, 20 miles (30 km) east of the city of Norwich.
Yarmouth was allocated the numeral 927 in the post office lists of 1844, it was later name changed to Great Yarmouth in 1883 where it then appeared in the lists of 1887

The Beach
The Beach area of Great Yarmouth is a 3 mile stretch of sand. The area was a popular resort in Victorian times and continues to serve the tourist industry and holidaying public. It stretches along Marine Parade. The Post Office is no longer in use.
