The 10 – 60 øre stamps were issued as early as 1 January 1943 by the Norwegian Government in London.
Used for correspondence posted at sea on Norwegian merchant ships and from some Norwegian camps in Great Brittan.
After liberation all values were sold in Norway as regular postage.

London overprint

The 10 – 60 øre stamps also were issued with an overprint “London 17.5.43” as well as
a serial number, in aid of the Resistance Movement. Overprinted by letterpress.
Could be used for franking in Norway until 2 September 1946.
