This set of stamps with frames and vignettes was issued to commemorate the Panama-Pacific Exposition of 1915. One of the highlights of the Panama-Pacific Exposition was to present the newly built Panama Canal, which finished construction just the year before. The vignettes show various scenes from Panama.
