Algeciras (/ˌældʒɨˈsɪrəs/; Spanish pronunciation: [alxeˈθiɾas]; Arabic: الجزيرة الخضراء) is a port city in the southernmost part of Spain. It is located in the Province of Cadiz on the Bay of Gibraltar. Population 116,917 (2012).
