This stamp was issued as part of the Celebration & Nation series. It was also available as a personalized stamp with a tab.


The stamp design refers to the Southern Cross as a symbol of Australia and has a celebratory feeling. The design conveys the national significance of stamps through its intricate use of cultural icons.

Prestige Booklet

This booklet tells the story of the Boxing Kangaroo from the turn of the 20th century to the BK of today. There are five stamp panes, each with a block of four stamps plus tabs. A different tab design (tennis, soccer, rugby, cricket and swimming) is used for each pane. Also included are five postcards (not pre-paid) and a page of 20 BK stickers. The booklet contains pages of text about, and images of, boxing kangaroos.
