Anton Frommel was an Liechtenstein painter, graphic artist, photographer, illustrator, priest (canon), and politician. (14 Mar 1895, Schaan (Liechtenstein) - 07 Oct 1975, Vaduz (Liechtenstein))
He was 1928-1976 member of the "Landtag" (parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein) and 1933-1945 also deputy head of state of Liechtenstein. He was an important figure at the circumvention of a "Coup d'Etat" by the Nazi's in 1938. His artistic work, mainly created in the time after WWII until to his death, is difficult to characterize with a single category.
