Elztal is a municipality (5,895 inhabitants end 2015) in the Neckar-Odenwald district, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is named after the valley of the river Elz. The municipality contains the five villages of Auerbach, Dallau, Muckental, Neckarburken and Rittersbach (since 1975).
