Pre-Provisional Red Printings Prior to the Provisional Repair - State 1 (SG AS70)
These units were printed in red prior to the provisional repair and final printing in black, and show the 'O' flaw.
Provisional Repair - State 2 in Black (SG AS68)
The only repair to plate 10 occurred early in January 1841 after the first printings in red had begun, but prior to the last (provisional) printing in black, resulting in units in red (the pre-provisional red printings) existing in an earlier state than the final printing in black ink.
Note: Units BI, CI, and CJ are believed to exist in state 2 but to date have not been recorded. A copy of CL is now recorded.
