(Thule was a settlement in Northwest-Greenland founded in 1910 under Danish administration. This settlement was in the 1950s abandoned again and the area is contemnporary located in the disctrict of "Qaanaaq" of the "Avanaaba Kommuna". The 1935 stamps were private stamps issued with official permission.)
