Gunzenhausen is a town (16,432 inhabitants end 2015) in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district, in Middle Franconia, Bavaria. It is situated on the river Altmühl. It used stamps issued by the Bavaria (Bayern) State until 1920.
