Huy is a municipality (21,205 inhabitants in 2013) of Walloon Region and Province of Liege. Huy lies along the river Meuse. The Huy municipality includes also the villages of Ben-Ahin, Neuville-sous-Huy, and Tihange.

Postal history before 1910

The HUY post office opened before 1830. It used a postal code 62 with bars (before 1864), and 186 with points before 1874. Sub-offices include - Sud, opened 22 August 1888 - Nord, opened on 14 September 1892 - Centre, opened on 20 September 1892 - Rue Montmorency, on 21 May 1906.

The BEN-AHIN relay opened on 1 December 1879.
