Note:
The "8th ITF-Taekwondo World Championship" took place in May 1992 in Pyongyang (North Korea) as first international great event in the then new built Teakwondo-Hall in Pyongyang. There exist several international Teakwondo-organisations, the ITF (ITF = "International Taekwondo Federation", founded 1966) is one of these. Since the Olympic Games 1988 in Seoul was Taekwondo as "Demonstration discipline" authorized and since the Olympic Games 2000 in Sydney is Teakwondo an official medal event at Olympic sports tounaments.
