Koszalin (German: Köslin) is a city (109,165 inhabitants in June 2014) in Western Pomerania in north-western Poland, near the Baltic Sea coast, on the river Dzierżęcinka. Koszalin is the seat of Koszalin County of West Pomeranian Voivodeship since 1999. Previously, it was a capital of Koszalin Voivodeship (1950–1998).
