Löhne (pronunciation: [ˈløːnə]) is a town (39,977 inhabitants end 2021) in the district of Herford, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Löhne is situated on the river Werre, approx. 8 km north of Herford and 20 km south-west of Minden. Post war Löhne Post Office took a number of nearby villages into its postal authority inclding Mennighüffen
Historically in the Kingdom of Prussia, province of Westphalia, District of Minden. Not to confuse with Lohne in Oldenburg.
