Penzberg (pronounced [ˈpɛnt͡sˌbɛʁk] is a town (16,514 inhabitants end 2019) in the Weilheim-Schongau district, in Upper Bavaria, Germany. A historic coal mining town, Penzberg today is known for its pharmaceutical industries. It used stamps issued by the Bavaria (Bayern) State until 1920.
