Centenary of the Turkish Air Force

  • Notes: technically, the Centenary of the aquisition of aircraft (1911) and their operation (1912 onwards) by the Ottoman Armed Forces, which never had a separate Air Force. The Turkish Air Force per se was formed in stages, 1923-1926

All stamps carry a 'Centenary' wings emblem. The imperforate miniature sheet was only available in a numbered edition in a Presentation Pack (sold at 30TL) which also contained the perforated miniature sheet mint and on FDC
