Znamensk is a rural locality (4,036 inhabitants in 2010) in Gvardeysky District of Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia, prior to 1945 known by its German name Wehlau, located on the right bank of the Pregolya River at its confluence with the Lava River, east of Kaliningrad.
