Lontzen is a bilingual (German-French) municipality (5,513 inhabitants in 2013) located in the Walloon province of Liège, in the German autonomous community. It includes the villages Herbesthal and Walhorn. In the period 1815-1919 it belonged to the Kingdom of Prussia (Empire of Germany).
