Nieuwpoort (BE)

Nieuwpoort is a municipality (11,062 inhabitants in 2008) located in the Flemish province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the city of Nieuwpoort proper and the towns of Ramskapelle and Sint-Joris. It used a postal code 87 with bars (before 1864), and 270 with points before 1870. The post-office NIEUPORT existed in 1830; NIEUPORT-BAINS opened on 15 July 1876.
