Philippeville (pronunciation: [filibvil]) is a Walloon town and municipality (9,228 inhabitants end 2017) located in Belgium in the province of Namur. The municipality includes also the old communes of Fagnolle, Franchimont, Jamagne, Jamiolle, Merlemont, Neuville, Omezée, Roly, Romedenne, Samart, Sart-en-Fagne, Sautour, Surice , Villers-en-Fagne, Villers-le-Gambon, and Vodecée.
