Valkenburg aan de Geul (Limburgish: Valkeberg) is a municipality situated in the southeastern Dutch province of Limburg. The name refers to the central town in the municipality, Valkenburg, and the small river Geul. Note: Valkenberg = Valkenburg around 1900.
