Wavre is a town and municipality (33,231 inhabitants in 2013) in the province of Walloon Brabant, of which it is the capital. The municipality includes the villages of Limal and Bierges. The WAVRE post-office opened before 1830. It used a postal code 130 with bars (before 1864) and 393 with points before 1874. The LIMAL relay opened on 7 June 1899.
