Szeged (AKA Szegedin or Segedin) is the fourth largest city (161,837 inhabitants in 2013) of Hungary, seat of Csongrád county in the southern part of the country. It is situated on both banks of the Tisza River not far from the border with Serbia and Romania. The city is famous with its university and rich cultural history.
