Description
Issued to commemorate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's 79th birthday. The stamp features a photographic image of The Queen as head of the Commonwealth of Nations at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Queensland. The Pink-flowered Yellow Gum, Eucalyptus leucoxylon, has been popular in landscaping since the 1970s. It is used as a decorative element on the stamp. The 2006 Commonwealth Games logo is also included in the design.
