Category:Thematics
From Stamps of the World
Thematics or Topicals are a large and varied field in philately. This category page aims to list the more popular and the lesser known topics that collectors use to organise their collections. Any page on the wiki can be added to a thematic category by adding the code [[Category:CategoryName]] within the pages code. There is no limit as to how many categories a page can be part of so please feel free to add a page to all themes that are represented.
In situations where a page can be part of multiple categories within a hierarchy then please add the page to all the categories that apply.
Examples:
- A stamp with a dog and its owner would belong to : Dogs, Mammals, Pets, Animals
- A stamp with a barn owl would belong to : Owls, Birds, Birds of Prey, Animals
