Souvenir envelope to the anniversary "150 years of opening of the railway line Berlin - Potsdam - Magdeburg in 1846"; envelope motive with the railway station of Burg near Magdeburg and a rail crane from around 1849 (= technical monument in Burg); The envelope was franked with Michel No. 2969 from 1985 showing the locomotive "Saxonia" from 1838; a portrait of Johann Andreas Schubert (1808-1870) in standing oval, and a electric locomotive BR 250 of the "Deutsche Reichsbahn".; The stamp was postmarked with a two-circle normal segment cancel for 4digit-code postal numbers in upper area, and with chord segment below, 28.5 mm diameter, from "3270 Burg", 27-02-1986.
