This is a Pacific atoll that is five miles long and forms part of the Cook islands group. It is situated 3,000 miles east of Australia.
Cook Island stamps were first issued there in 1892.
After using New Zealand stamps which were overprinted the atoll adopted Cook Islands stamp issues.
