Andlau is a municipality (1,739 inhabitants end 2016) in the Bas-Rhin department in Alsace, Grand Est region.
The village owes its origin to Andlau Abbey which was founded in 880 by Richardis, the empress of Charles the Fat.
Andlau has been a wine-growing centre and traveler destination since its earliest days.
