Bad Sooden-Allendorf is a town in the Werra-Meißner-Kreis in Hesse, Germany and lies in the Werra valley near the Hoher Meißner, right on the boundary with Thuringia, almost at Germany’s geographical centre, 33 km east of Kassel. Populaion at the end of 2018 was 8,675. Situated in the American Zone of Allied Occupation Post WWII, it belonged to RPD 16 Frankfurt. It currently uses post code 37242.
