Bergisch Born (DE)
Bergisch Born, until the 20th century just Born, is a Bergisch locality and, as part of the Lennep district, a district of Remscheid (district-free) in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Düsseldorf in Germany.
In the course of the local government reform in North Rhine-Westphalia, the eastern area around Bergisch Born was detached from the city of Hückeswagen on January 1, 1975 and incorporated into the city of Remscheid. The north of today's district previously belonged to the city of Lennep (later Remscheid), the south to Wermelskirchen.
Today the place is divided into the statistical districts Bergisch Born West and Bergisch Born Ost.
