Burgstädt (pronunciation: [ˈbʊɐ̯kʃtɛt]) is a town (10,672 inhabitants end 2018) in the district of Mittelsachsen, in the Free State of Saxony, Germany, northwest of Chemnitz. It is associated with Mühlau (2,130 inh.) and Taura (2,372 inh.) in a Verwaltungsgemeinschaft.
