Courcelles (pronunciation: ​[kuʁ.sɛl]; Walloon: Courcele) is a Walloon municipality (31,376 inhabitants end 2017) located in the Belgian province of Hainaut. The municipality consists of the following sub-municipalities: Courcelles proper, Gouy-lez-Piéton, Souvret, and Trazegnies.

Postal history before 1910

The GOUY-LEZ-PIETON post office opened on 8 March 1860. It used a Perception code 180 with bars (before 1864) and 154 with points before 1874. TRAZEGNIES on 26 August 1880. The COURCELLES post office opened on 27 March 1888, COURCELLES (TRIEUX) on 24 April 1894. The SOUVRET post office opened on 11 February 1898.
