Gembloux (BE)
Gembloux (pronunciation: [ʒɑ̃.blu]; in Walloon: Djiblou; in Dutch: Gembloers) is a Walloon municipality (25,933 inhabitants end 2017) located in the Belgian province of Namur. In 1964, Gembloux is merged with the villages of Ernage, Grand-Manil, Lonzée et Sauvenière. Have been added in 1977: Beuzet, Bossière, Bothey, Corroy-le-Château, Grand-Leez, Isnes and Mazy.
It is well known for its Agricultural University and for its cutlery. The university is housed in the historical Abbey of Gembloux, which dates from the tenth century. Gembloux's belfry belongs to the set of belfries of Belgium and France inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 2005.

The GEMBLOUX post office opened in 1835. It used a Perception code 47 (before 1864), and 144 with points before 1874. MAZY opened on 2 March 1880, GRAND-LEEZ on 28 April 1885. BEUZET relay in 1908.
