Hechingen is a town (18,741 inhabitants end 2013) in central Baden-Württemberg. It is situated about 60 km (37 mi) south of Stuttgart and 90 km (56 mi) north of Lake Constance. Historically in the Principality of Hohenzollern-Hechingen. The post was assumed by Thurn und Taxis, before incorporation in Prussia in 1868.
