  • 1y ~ 1y has seriph hook on top; NIPPON is larger and repositioned; addition of brown frame line across top of design
  • 3y ~ figure of value wider with round top; NIPPON is larger and repositioned; colour shade
  • 5y ~ NIPPON is larger; figure of value is wider (and vertically compressed
  • 100y ~ 1 in figure of value has seriph hook on top; the '100' is centred above NIPPON (previously left aligned); removal of the left and right side purple frame lines (previously with purple frame on all four sides)
  • 200y ~ NIPPON is larger, figure of value slightly more elongated and repositioned to align with foot of statute
  • 500y ~ figure of value 500 is 7½mm wide, NIPPON is larger, green frame lines added at top and base
