Values in öre. NORGE in Sans Serif lettering. Shaded Posthorn. Not to be confused with the 1882-1893 issues ("Unshaded" Posthorn). The 5 and 10 öre were redrawn, 2 January 1879 and 9 January 1882 respectively - the 5 value without a "ball" at the bottom of the small figure; the 10 value with the upper-left serif of the numeral "1" pointing 45 degrees downward. All later issues, 1882-1893, are "Unshaded" in the Posthorn, either 21 or 20 mm in height. The Sans Serif lettering was replaced with "Roman" lettering from 1893 onward.
