The 10 – 60 øre stamps were issued as early as 1 January 1943 by the Norwegian Government in London.
Used for correspondence posted at sea on Norwegian merchant ships, the Norwegian Royal Navy, and from some Norwegian camps in Great Britain.
Valid in Norway for postage from 8 May 1945, available from the post offices 5-10 July 1945. Known FDCs postmarked KIRKENES, 30 April 1945.

London overprint

The 10 – 60 øre stamps also were issued with an overprint “London 17.5.43” as well as
a serial number, in aid of the Resistance Movement. Overprinted by letterpress.
Could be used for franking in Norway until 2 September 1946.
