Quévy (pronunciation: [kevi]) is a municipality (8,105 inhabitants end 2017) of Wallonia located in the province of Hainaut, Belgium. The municipality consists of the following sections: Asquillies, Aulnois, Blaregnies, Bougnies, Genly, Givry, Gœgnies-Chaussée, Havay, Quévy-le-Grand, and Quévy-le-Petit. It is on the former (before ??) main rail route between Brussels and Paris.

Postal history before 1910

GIVRY post office opened in 1836. It used a Distribution code 19 (before 1864), and 150 with points before 1874. QUEVY post office opened in 1860. It used a Distribution code 105 (before 1864), and 304 with points before 1874. The AULNOIS and QUEVY-LE-PETIT post office opened on 18 January 1900; GENLY on 8 September 1908.
