Suedheide (DE)

Südheide is a municipality (11,486 inhabitants end 2021) in the district of Celle, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It takes its name from the heathland Südheide. It was formed on 1 January 2015 by the merger of the former municipalities Hermannsburg and Unterlüss. The villages of Südheide are: Baven, Beckedorf, Bonstorf, Hermannsburg, Lutterloh, Oldendorf, Unterlüß, Weesen. Historically in the Kingdom of Hanover.

HERMANNSBURG

Hermannsburg is a village and a former municipality in the Celle district, in Lower Saxony, Germany. Since 1 January 2015 it is part of the municipality Südheide. It has been a state-recognised resort town since 1971. It is situated on the river Örtze, about 15 km east of Bergen. It belongs to the district of Celle.
