Vielsalm (BE)

Vielsalm is a Walloon municipality (7,468 inhabitants in 2013) located in the province of Luxembourg, merger of the former villages of Vielsalm, Grand-Halleux, Petit Thier and Bihain. The town is part of the Arrondissement of Bastogne. The VIELSALM post-office opened on 1 September 1836. It used a postal code 124 with bars (before 1864), and 375 with points before 1874. GRAND-HALLEUX opened on 24 January 1881, BIHAIN on 25 April 1906.
