Burgh is a town in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is a part of the municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland, and lies about 23 km north of Middelburg.
The statistical area "Burgh", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 1200.
Burgh and the neighboring Haamstede are merged into Burgh-Haamstede.
Westerschouwen, a former municipality in the Dutch province of Zeeland, was formed in a merger of the municipalities Burgh, Haamstede, Noordwelle, Renesse, and Serooskerke on January 1, 1961. As the name indicates, it covered the western part of the island of Schouwen.
On January 1, 1997, Westerschouwen merged with Brouwershaven, Bruinisse, Duiveland, Middenschouwen, and Zierikzee to form the new municipality Schouwen-Duiveland.
