Paul Delvaux was an Belgian painter of the Surrealism, partially with expressionistic tendencies. (23 September 1897 - 20 July 1934)
(The "Musée Paul Delvaux" was opened in 1982 in a former Atelier and Staying house of Paul Delvaux in the artists village "Sint Idesbald", a quarter of the municipalty of "Koksijde" on the coast of Flanders (between the locations "Dunkerke" and "Ostende". Paul Delvaux had worked there since 1945. He was amog others also Professor and teacher at the "École Nationale Supérieure d'Art et d'Architecture" in Brussels.)
