Leonardo da Vinci (full name: "Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci") was an Italian polymath of the Renaissance time. (15 April 1452 - 02 May 1519) He is seen as imortant representant of the Florentine School and was painter, sculptor, architect, mechanic, engeneer, anatomist, and natural philosopher. Also is he seen (among others) as the constructor of a predecessor of the modern helicopter.
