Głogów (German: Glogau, rarely Groß-Glogau) is a town (68,813 inhabitants in June 2014) in southwestern Poland, on the River Oder. It is the county seat of Głogów County, in Lower Silesian Voivodeship (since 1999), and was previously in Legnica Voivodeship (1975–1998). Historically in the Prussian province of Silesia, District of Liegnitz.
