Gravesend (GB) Brunswick Road

This office was opened in 1849 at the "Brunswick Arms" with Mr T Frost in charge. Shortly afterwrds the receiver was deprived of his appointment. It move to the grocer's shop of Miss Clemitson at no 21 in 1858. An undated mark is shown in the proof books on 17 February 1856 but no examples are recorded used. It closed in 1859 when it was replaced by a postbox which became a wall box in 1861.
