Guernsey 1971 Decimal Currency Definitives

- Issued: 6th January 1971 (10p,20p & 50p) 14.2.1971 (½p-9p)
- Design: Richard Granger Barrett
- Printed by Harrison, ½p to 10p. The 20p & 50p Imprimiere Delrieu
- Print Process: Photogravure
- Paper: Unwatermarked Chalk Surfaced except the 3½p on Glazed Ordinary Paper*. 2p Known on Both papers issued on FDI. High Values on Glossy Paper
- The 2½p & 3p known on thinner whiter paper from the 2nd April 1973 reprints. The 10p* was reprinted on 1st September 1972 on Glazed Paper.
- A Few 3p values have been found on Watermarked Crown Agents Paper in error.
- Perforations 14.00 for ½p to 10p, 13.5 x 13 for 20p & 50p.
- Stamp Size: 44.5mm wide x 28.5mm deep (1/2p to 10p), & 48.5mm wide x 32.5mm deep (20p & 50p)
- Sheet Size: 50 (2 panes 25 each 5 by 5). The Delrieu High Value Stamps were mainly Sheets of 30.(6 by 5). A few gutter pairs are known from a few sheets of 60. (2 panes 5 by 6).
- Withdrawn from Sale ½p-10p on the 1st April 1975. 20p & 50p on 31st March 1976.
